Hello, 2018!

Hello, 2018!

Hoo boy, it’s been an awesome-crazy year for GripStrip! We are so excited to look back over the last year and see how much we have accomplished. Here are a few highlights:

  • We expanded or product line to offer two new sizes available in four colours
  • We have seen steady growth Canada-wide with incredible product support and sales from Rona and Home Depot, to name a few
  • We have partnered with several local municipalities to increase safety in public areas
  • We have pushed through into the US sales market and attended three great trade shows south of the border to show off our product line

This is where the heartfelt gratitude comes in, because we would not have had such great success without our family, friends and business experts who have helped guide our dream and turn our vision into a thriving company. Who would have thought a set of slippery exterior wood stairs leading down to our basement would have actually led us on such an incredible journey?

So, now we look ahead to 2018! We see more big things happening and we have plenty of New Year’s resolutions to fulfill, both personally and professionally. So we have to ask: What’s your New Year’s Resolution? Some say to turn your resolution into an actuality, it helps to announce it to make it real - and to hold yourself accountable. So, post your resolution to our Facebook page! We’d love too see what change you want to make in 2018.

Customer Reviews

  • "Around here, moss grows overnight. It makes everything very slippery. My condo association recently installed Gripstrips on our wooden walkways that get slippery in the winter. They have reduced the number of people falling to ZERO this winter! We place them two feet apart, and it's enough to stop a skid before it becomes a fall. They are the best product ever. (I've used chickenwire stapled down (painful), and composition roof tiles (ugly). GripStrips are attractive and they work!! GREAT PRODUCT!!"

  • "After discovering this product at a consumer tradeshow, I contacted GRIPSTRIP on behalf of a number of Strata Corporations that I manage. These buildings have now used GRIPSTRIPs on exterior wooden stair systems to reduce the likelihood of slip and falls and the product has proven to be very effective. On my personal strata in Whistler, BC, we have used this product on all of our exterior stair systems and the product has proven to work very well with both rain and snow and has been quite durable in spite of constant shoveling of snow from these stairs.
